ORDER FORM
The menu on the right of each page should help you to find what you are looking for. Some books and patterns appear on more than one page, and, where appropriate, you will find information about linked items.
Clicking on a photo will take you to an information page.
PAPER AND ELECTRONIC BOOKS AND PATTERNS
Many of our books and patterns are available in a paper version and a PDF (electronic) version. Some are only available in PDF. We print all paper versions ourselves, on demand (unless otherwise stated). Most customers now buy PDF versions and we strongly recommend PDF.
Receiving your patterns as electronic files means you get them almost immediately, there is no postage to pay and you can print out only the pages you need.
Most PDF patterns are handled by Ravelry and you will see a green ‘Add to Ravelry cart’ button on the patterns. It is an automatic system and you will get an immediate download. Ravelry only deals with knitting and crochet items so a few items can not go via that system and have to be sent out manually. You will see a grey ‘Add to cart’ button. We aim to send these files within 24 hours.
Two shopping carts show at the top of the page.
Some books can be bought from Lulu.com, others are only available from booksellers such as local shops or Amazon.
ILLUSION KNIT PATTERNS
Many of the patterns on the Illusion Knits section of the Order Form are free downloads. Those that are not free are processed through a different basket from our other patterns and need to be paid for separately.
SHIPPING COSTS (for Printed Books and Patterns)
The shipping cost is not shown on the website because the cost depends on how many items are packaged together in one parcel. The PayPal shopping basket attempts to calculate the cost of postage and packaging. Unfortunately, it does this before asking for a delivery address. The price quoted for shipping assumes that the package will be sent by worldwide airmail.
If the delivery address which you specify is in the UK or elsewhere in Europe, PayPal will, therefore, overcharge you for the postage. We will refund the excess when we package the books. The refund should be something like 50% of the shipping cost for delivery within the UK and 20% elsewhere in Europe. You may be overcharged in other parts of the world. If you are overcharged we will send you a refund. We aim to post any tangible goods within 24 hours. Worldwide shipping usually takes about one week to arrive.
PAYMENTS
Payment for both carts is via PayPal. Payment for each cart needs to be made separately. All payments go to sales@woollythoughts.com
