Mental Blocks Commercial patterns for sale Tribute	We are designers of mathematical knitwear. Or perhaps we are mathematical designers of knitwear. Whatever you want to call us, many of our designs are simple geometric shapes combined to make elaborate patterns. We are now best known for our collection of large-scale knit and crochet afghan and cushion designs. We do not sell any completed items but you can buy the instructions to make your own. We are mathematicians at heart and so most of what we do has a mathematical basis. This may not always be obvious and it doesn't explain the cartoons and word-play which often creep in. Because of our unusual approach to Maths we have been involved with many exhibitions, projects and workshops for mathematicians and craftspeople. We have recently retired from teaching in schools so are no longer limited to fitting these around 'the day-job'. There have been some changes to the web site. In response to popular demand nothing has been moved or removed but we have added new ways of accessing much of the existing information.
